Alexandre Texier (born 13 September 1999) is a French professional ice hockey forward, currently playing on loan with KalPa of the Finnish Liiga as a prospect to the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.[1]
Playing career
After his first season in the Finnish Liiga with KalPa in 2017–18, in which he added 13 goals and 22 points in 53 games as the club's youngest player, Texier was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets on May 23, 2018.[2]
Texier was named to the France men's national ice hockey team to compete at the 2018 IIHF World Championship, becoming the third-youngest player in the tournament.[3]
