Alexandra Pringle (born 1952/1953) is a British publisher, the editor-in-chief of Bloomsbury Publishing for 18 years as of March 2018.[2]

Career

In 1991, she was editorial director of the publisher Hamish Hamilton.[1]

Pringle joined Bloomsbury in 1999, as head of the adult publishing division.[2]

In March 2018, she handed over the day-to-day running of the Bloomsbury's adult trade publishing division to Emma Hopkin, but remained editor-in-chief.[2]

Personal life

She lived in Hampstead, London, until her divorce in 2000.[1] She has remarried.[1]
