The Rt. Rev. Alexander Hamilton Vinton
Alexander Hamilton Vinton (March 30, 1852 – January 18, 1911) was first bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts from 1902 to 1911. He was an alumnus of the General Theological Seminary. He was the second rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Boston from 1869-77. Vinton was elected a member of the American Antiquarian Society in 1903.[1]
