Alexander Anatolyevich Donchenko (Russian: Александр Анатольевич Донченко; born 22 March 1998) is a German chess grandmaster.
Chess career
Born in 1998, Donchenko earned his international master title in 2012 and his grandmaster title in 2015.[1][2] He is the No. 10 ranked German player as of March 2018.[3] In March 2018, he competed in the European Individual Chess Championship. He placed one-hundred-and-fourteenth,[4] scoring 6/11 (+4–3=4).[5]
Personal life
Born in Moscow, Donchenko is the son of Anatoly Donchenko, an international master.[6]
