Alex Merced (born June 30, 1985) is an American politician and the current Vice-chairperson of the Libertarian National Committee.[1] He is also policy director for Larry Sharpe's 2018 gubernatorial campaign in New York.

Vice Chair

Merced announced his intentions in late 2017 to run for Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party citing his belief that "[t]he principles of liberty are ones that I am dedicated to share to everyone especially those struggling to find their forward […]."[2] In July 2018, he was elected as Vice Chair with a vote total of 50.6%, defeating Arvin Vohra.[3]
