Professional mixed martial arts career
Lara made her MMA debut on 10 December 2011 on Extreme Combat MMA Senshi Ki 1 against Monica Leon, winning the fight in round 1 via retirement. [2]
Bellator MMA
Lara debuted on Bellator with a win over Lena Ovchynnikove at Bellator 190. Bellator announced in February 2018 that they extended her contract with the promotion. [3] Lara suffered her first defeat with the promotion at Bellator 201 against Ilima-Lei Macfarlane.
