Alec Von Utgoff (Russian: Олег Владимирович Утгоф; born 1 March 1986)[3] is a Ukrainian-born British actor. He is known for playing the role of Yuri in The Wrong Mans. His other notable roles include Aleksandr Borovsky in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014),[4][1] Dmitri in Mortdecai (2015)[5] and Alexi in San Andreas (2015).[6]

Early life

Utgoff was born in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR to Roza, a musical conductor, and Volodymyr, a heart surgeon who is an honored doctor of modern-day Ukraine.[1] In 1997, at the age of 11, he moved to London, England. His brother Alan, a financial advisor, and his parents still live in Kiev.[2] Along with his native Ukrainian language, He is also fluent in both English and Russian.
