Al-Ahed Sport Club (Arabic: نادي العهد الرياضي) is a Lebanese football team playing in Lebanon's top soccer division. It was founded in 1966 and is based in Beirut. It competes in the Lebanese Premier League. They have been announced as Lebanese Premier League champions for the 2017-18 season.[1][2] Al-Ahed won their first Lebanese Premier League title in 2008. Today, during the new era of Lebanese football, the big rivalry between Ahed and Nejmeh is the most fierce and enthusiastic game in Lebanon. Other important matches are with different big teams competing in the league, such as Ansar, Safa, and Racing Beirut.
