Aize Obayan (born March 4 1960) is a Nigerian educational administrator and a Professor of Counselling with specialization in Multicultural aspects of Human Behavioural Disposition.

Education and career

Obayan obtained her PhD from the University of Ilorin, and prior to joining Covenant University, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Roehampton, UK.[1]

Obayan was the former Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria[2] from 2005 until December 2012, when she was replaced by Professor Charles Ayo. She was also the Vice Chancellor of Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, which is one of the best private universities in Nigeria.[3]

Personal life

She was married to Adetokunbo Obayan of the leadership consultancy firm Adetokunbo Obayan and Associates; he died in 2017.[1][4] They had two adult children together.[1] She describes herself as a born again Christian.[5]
