Air Credits is an American rap group from Chicago, Illinois.[1] Comprised by rapper Showyousuck and Steve Reidell of production duo The Hood Internet, Air Credits bill themselves as "music from the not too distant future, when the planet’s water supply has all but ceased, the landscape turning to desert, the desert turning to wasteland."[2]

Career

Air Credits first joined Sims of Doomtree on Sims' More Than Ever tour in late 2016.[3] In June 2017, Air Credits toured as the opening act for The Hood Internet's tenth anniversary tour.[4]

On July 7, 2017, the duo released Omega Virus, a continuous mix featuring eight previously-unreleased songs. [5] Later, a music video for Safe Room[6] preceded a release of the track as a single, in addition to singles for A.C.R.E.A.M. and Hack the Planet.

In late 2017, Air Credits released a remix of OneHundred by Sims in honor of the first anniversary of his album More Than Ever.[7]

August 2018 brought the release of Artería Verité, a collaboration with Sims and ICETEP that came about after their experiences on tour in 2016: "Immediately following that tour, these four met up in the studio (first in Chicago, then later in Minneapolis) to create Artería Verité." [8]
