Air Alderney Limited is a proposed airline to serve the island of Alderney, part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The airline is based at the island's only airport, the States of Guernsey-operated Alderney Airport. Air Alderney was founded on 31 January 2017, and is scheduled to commence operations in September 2017. The company's logo displays a puffin (inter alia), a wild bird found in the Channel Islands. The puffin will also be the theme of the airline's livery.[1][2]

History

The airline has been granted permission for several passenger and freight routes and expects to commence operations in September 2017 with its first service from Alderney to Jersey. Flights to Cherbourg and Brighton will then be introduced in late 2017. The first two aircraft are expected before the end of June 2017, the third before the end of 2017.[3]
