Aileen Donnelly

Aileen Donnelly is a High Court judge in Ireland.[1] She is the first openly gay member to serve on the High Court.[2] She has been appointed to deal with extradition cases.[3]

Donnelly attended University College Dublin (UCD) and the King's Inn. In 1988, she was called to the Bar. Between 1996 and 2002, she was a board member and co-chair of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL). In 2004, she was called to the Inner Bar.[2]
