Aileen Britton

Aileen Britton (1916, Sydney, Australia – 19 April 1986) was an Australian actress of theatre, radio, television and film (TV movie and theatrical) She was known for her work with the Independent Theatre. Television credits include Number 96, Matlock Police and The Restless Years, The Sullivans, Prisoner (TV series)|Prisoner]]and A Country Practice

She made her film debut in Tall Timbers (1937).[1] She then worked on stage until the reemergence of Australian cinema in the mid-1970s.
