Aikyatan

Aikyatan is a progressive drama group based in Guwahati in Assam founded by Pabitra Kumar Deka in 1976. It has produced many memorable plays like Janani, Surjastak, Panchatantra (opera), Sinhasan Khali, Hewers of Coal, Upahar, Night of 16 January, Dolls House, etc.[1][2]

The group was most prominent in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 2015, it has been revived once again with the production of plays like Apekhyat, Rising of the Moon, etc.[3][4]
