Jessica Marie "Aika" Gerona Robredo (born 12 January 1988) is the eldest daughter of Vice President of the Philippines Leni Robredo.

Personal life

Robredo was born in Naga City to Vice President Leni Robredo and the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo. She graduated with honors in Ateneo de Manila University with a degree of Bachelor of Science, major in Management Engineering.[1] She worked for a multinational oil company in the private sector for 4 years before working in government. She was employed in the Office of Civil Defense of the Department of National Defense until resignation to campaign for her mother.[2][3]

Robredo is the co-founder of the Philippine Toy Library. She is also the Chairperson of the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation and the President of TAYO Awards Foundation.

Role

During the campaign, she became active as one of her mother's spokesperson[4] and representative in some campaign events and functions she cannot attend to.[5][6] She also acts as her mother's alter ego and official hostess to the official residence of the Vice President of the Philippines, the Quezon City Reception House.
