Agrilus cuprescens is a species in the family Buprestidae ("metallic wood-boring beetles"), in the order Coleoptera ("beetles").[1][2] Common names are "rose stem girdler" and "bronze cane borer".[3][4] The distribution range of Agrilus cuprescens includes Europe & Northern Asia (excluding China) and North America.[2]
