Afaf Zurayk (born in 1948) is a Lebanese multimedia artist and poet living and working in Beirut, Lebanon.
Education and teaching
Zurayk holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from the American University of Beirut and an M.A. in Fine Arts from Harvard University. She teaches painting at the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University.[1]
Artworks
Zurayk's work is often inspired by music and poetry, and her art lyrically plays with the human face and figure.[2][3] Her artwork has been exhibited extensively across Lebanon and United States, including the Sursock Museum, Galerie Janine Rubeiz, the World Bank, and the Arab American National Museum. [4]
