Adwaith Shine is a Advertising and Commercial Photographer,Film director and cinematographer currently working in Malayalam film industry.His first film as chief cinematographer 2 penkuttikal won Kerala State Film Award for best child actress. He started working as a cinematographer for feature films in his 20th age and he has been one of the youngest approved member of FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala) and CUMAC(Cinematographers Union Of Malayalam Cinema). He has done under graduation in B.sc film technology in Director of photography and also a student of cinematography masters Mr. G.P Krishna and J. Robert Asirvatham


Early life

Adwaith shine was born on 26 October 1994 in Bharananganam located in Kottayam district Kerala. During his school days, he used to practice photography with basic non-reflex camera. He was very passionate and had keen interest in cameras. His interest in film making began after acting in a documentary film about Saint. Alphonsa in his 7th grade. After doing his schooling in Alphonsa residential school, he straight away joined for doing his bachelor's degree B.sc Film technology in Director of photography in SRM Sivaji Ganeshan school of film studies Chennai.Due to his passion in photography, he went to Udaan school of photography Mumbai to master the basics of photography from veteran photojournalist, photographer and master Arko Datta, after participating in various Advertising photography classes and workshops conducted by India's Leading commercial photographers, He came back to Chennai again to spend an another year in the Muybridge film school to learn advanced motion picture and Imaging technologies under his guru and Master Mr. G.P Krishna.

Career

Adwaith shine started his career by acting in feature films, documentaries and short films. He got his first professional camera after joining the film institute. He did small short films as a part of his studies. His short film 'Murivunangum munbe' was screened in NDTV. He has acted in the short film titled 'NILA' which has been screened in various short film festivals. At the age of 20, he did his first feature film '2 penkuttikal'. His personal portrait photography project on the homeless elderly has been published in Deccan Chronicle as "Capturing the many faces of joy". He have worked as chief fashion and celebrity photographer for KERALA FASHION LEAGUE and INDIAN FASHION LEAGUE. On 9 August he was officially commissioned by the government of India to photograph the honourable President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind , the first lady of India, The governor and the lady Governor of India during their official visit to Kerala. Adwaith is now working as a director of photography for various television commercials commissioned by leading film production houses in Kerala and well as advertising agencies. His first directorial debut feature film is "Vahni[1]" which features his own mother as the lead heroine. His fashion film as director and director of photography "Atreyi[2]" has been officially selected to Fashion film festival Chicago[3] 2018 and Fashion films RD.
