Administrative Training Institute, Mysore is a major federally funded training organization of the Government of Karnataka located in Mysore, India.[1] Shri. Kapil Mohan I.A.S is the current Director General.[2]

Facilities

ATI, Mysore has a campus of 35 acres on the foothills of Chamundi hills near the Karanji lake. The State Institute for Urban Development is inside the same campus.[3] ATI is bestowed with State of the Art Infrastructure with technologically advanced training equipment's supplementing well qualified professional trainers.[4] Being a nationally important and prestigious organization, ATI Mysore also conducts training for federal officers of IAS, IPS and IFS cadres. ATI Mysore has an auditorium that can accommodate 70 trainees.[5][6]

Library

ATI being one of the oldest training institute many official publications and gazette notifications are available in the library. Over 55000 records are available which include periodicals and publications related to administration and training. A unique publications of Modules, Evaluation Reports and Action Research Documents are kept in the Library. Computerized Database creation is initiated. Library remains open from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.[7]

Conference Hall

The institute has a conference hall that can accommodate 70 people equipped with modern facilities.[8]

Classrooms

The classrooms are well equipped with multimedia projectors, computers, remote presenters, audio system and furnished with Air-conditioners.[9]

Hostels

To cater the needs of Group "A" and "B" officers who are the primary trainees a well furnished dual sharing rooms are provided. There are 52 rooms each having computer, internet, television and intercom facility. There are two dinning halls one of which is open dinning hall capable of accommodating 50 capacity.

A new Hostel Block with 113 fully furnished rooms adjacent to Classrooms, Seminar Hall and Conference Hall and Recreational Area is integrated in the new hostel block which is anticipated to be operational by August 2010.[10]
