Adele Griffin

Adele Griffin (born July 29, 1970) is a young adult fiction author, writing numerous novels for young adults, most recently The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone, as well as the Vampire Island and Witch Twins series. Her novels Sons of Liberty and Where I Want to Be were both National Book Award finalists.

Career

The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone is a documentary-style biography of a brilliant and destructive New York Street artist Addison Stone, now deceased. Presented as an oral history, the novel is illustrated with photos, illustrations, newspaper and magazine clippings, as well as reproductions of the artist's work

All You Never Wanted is the story of a sibling rivalry between Alex, an attractive, popular girl, and her younger sister, Thea, who embarks on a campaign to usurp Alex's status.

Tighter is a retelling of Henry James' classic Turn of the Screw

Personal life

Adele Griffin was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lives with her husband, their two young children, and their dog, Edith, in Brooklyn, New York.
