Adam Minoprio (born 19 June 1985 in Whangarei) is a New Zealand sailor competing in match racing.[1]

He won the 2008 Energa Sopot Match Race, the 2010 Match Race Germany and the 2015 King Edward VII Gold Cup. With BlackMatch Racing he won the World Match Racing Tour in 2009 and became 2013 World Champion in match racing.[2][1]

He has competed in two Volvo Ocean Races; in 2011–12 on Camper Lifelovers and in 2014–15 on Team Brunel.[3] He spent time with Luna Rossa Challenge, until they withdrew from the 2017 America's Cup.[4][5] He has sailed with GAC Pindar and the SAP Extreme Sailing Team in the Extreme Sailing Series.[6]

He sailed for Groupama Team France during the 2015–16 America's Cup World Series and helmed their second boat at the 2017 America's Cup.[7][8]
