Adam David Rhodes Kay (born 1 March 1992) is an English footballer.
Early life
Kay was born in Bath, Somerset attending Wellsway School. Playing for Bristol Rovers F.C. youth academy from the age of 7.
Playing Career
Bristol Rovers
Kay joined at the age of 7, and was with the club until 2007, making 1 reserve team appearance before being loaned to Accrington Stanley.
He moved to League 2 side Accrington Stanley on 20 March 2007 until the end of the season, where he did not make an appearance.[1] On 21 August 2007, Kay joined
He then joined Championship side Bristol City at the end of the 2007 season, making 3 appearances at the U21 level scoring 3 goals. 2008 saw Kay move back to Bristol Rovers where he made appearances in the reserve team, and 3 for the first team as a sub, but did not make the score sheet. In 2009 Kay was released from Bristol Rovers, and made the switch as a free agent to Jazz Pori, where he made 20 appearances scoring once. After FC Jazz did not renew Kay's contract, he was not seen for 2 years, until making appearances for Oklahoma City F.C. in the American NPSL league.
Radcliffe Borough
On 17 September 2015, Kay signed a contract with Conference North side Radcliffe Borough and made his debut for the club the following day in the 1–3 defeat away at Solihull Moors.[2] After a brief spell at Radcliffe Borough, Kay left the club after a mutual termination of his contract and moved back to America, where he began training with the United Soccer League team Oklahoma Energy F.C. Kay was not offered a contract and started his career in management instead.
