Adam Hurrey

Adam Hurrey is a London based British journalist and author.

Hurrey created the Football Clichés blog in 2007 while working as a TV listings editor.[1] He has since written for The Guardian,[2]Eurosport,[3] ESPN,[4] The Daily Mirror,[5] the BBC,[6][7] and The Daily Telegraph.[8]

Hurrey’s book Football Clichés was named ‘book of the week’ in The Independent,[9] and in The Telegraph was described as the spiritual heir to and the gleeful radio shows of Danny Baker and Danny Kelly.[10]

Hurrey has regularly appeared as a football pundit on The Totally Football Show.[11][12] Hurrey has been interviewed about football clichés on BBC Radio 4.[13] When asked by FourFourTwo, Hurrey nominated ’He Always Puts It To The Right: A History Of The Penalty Kick’ by Clark Miller (1998) as his favourite ever football book.[14]
