Acalypha virginica, common names Virginia threeseed mercury and Virginia copperleaf, is a plant native to the eastern United States.[1] It is listed as a special concern species in Connecticut.[2] The only documented occurrence of this species in Maine was collected from Parsonsfield, Maine in 1902 and it is currently thought to be extirpated from the state.[3]
