Acacia oncinophylla is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Juliflorae. It is native to Swan Coastal Plain and South West regions of Western Australia.[1]
The shrub typically grows to a height of 0.5 to 3 metres (2 to 10 ft). It flowers from August to September producing yellow flowers. The plant will grow granitic or lateritic soils.[1]
Taxonomy
It was first published by Lindl. in 1839.
There are two recognised subspecies
- Acacia oncinophylla subsp. oncinophylla|A. c. subsp. oncinophylla
- Acacia oncinophylla subsp. patulifolia|A. c. subsp. patulifolia
