People and Culture

Since Abnow is very close to Shiraz so many of the Abnowi people migrated to Shiraz. Abnow has two main road which connected the village to other towns and villages. From Ardakan and most convenient way from Beyza. The both roads are passing through the mountains and beautiful scenery. Particularly, the road from Shiraz- Beyza is almost look like driving through the North Spain, passing along the seasonal river and in the both sides of the road you are able to see the oak trees and the high mountain that surrendered the village. There are two villages on the way, Ghal-e Tang and Bozenjan and then Manjani which belongs to the Jokar family. Jokar (Shahpor, Nader, Amir, Jahanpor) family is the one of the most powerful and honourable family of late Haj Khalifeh Jokar, also one of the Abnow Kadkhoda- Village boss. The Jokar family also should be recognise as the one of the first people who started to plant Apple tress in Abnow territories.
