Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahman Obeid Abdulrahman Al Hammad (Arabic: الشيخ الدكتور محمد عبد الرحمن عبيد عبدالرحمن الحماد) is a Saudi Arabian businessman, co-owner of Al Bayan Holding Group[1], Aloula Geojit and 20 other organizations in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Al Hammad has pursued PhD and Masters degree in Business Administration in 2003[2] from University of Brighton, Brighton, United Kingdom[3].

Al Hammad is the co-owner with 24.5%[4] stake in Al Bayan Holding Group since 2012, a conglomerate headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia along with branched in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
Vice Chairman of Saudi Cooperative Societies Council
In 2015, Saudi Gazette as well as Arab News informed that Al Hammad was appointed as the Vice Chairman of Saudi Cooperative Societies Council on 22 November 2014[5] by Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud.

وهذا العام يتعانق اليوم الوطني مع مرور 8 أعوام مجيدة منذ مبايعة سيدي خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز - حفظه الله - فقد امتدت مسيرة العطاء والإنجاز من لدن القائد الموحد الملك عبدالعزيز - طيب الله ثراه - مرورا بأبنائه الملوك الميامين حتى وصلت إلى خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله فواصل العطاء والبناء بحدب الأب الرحيم على أبنائه وعم الخير في عهده الميمون كل أبناء الوطن. ولكن ونحن في غمرة أفراحنا بمنجزات عام من عمر المملكة المديد ماذا علينا أن نتمثل وما هي الوقفة المطلوب منا أن نقفها أبناء المملكة مع أنفسنا ومع الوطن وأولياء أمره وهي وقفة أو وقفات تجعل من المناسبة فرصة للتأمل والمراجعة لا فرحة عابرة. الوقفة الأولى مع التاريخ وهي لا بد أن نتذكر كيف كنا وكيف أصبحنا كيف كنا قبل قيام المملكة وتوحيدها قبائل متنافرة متناحرة لا يجمعها جامع تعيش شظف العيش وقسوة الحياة حتى منّ الله علينا بنعمة التوحيد التي امتن بها على أوائل هذه الأمة {وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاء فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا} (103) سورة آل عمران، أجل كنا أعداء فأصبحنا بنعمة الله إخوانا ومن تمام شكر النعمة علينا ان نغرس في نفوس أبنائنا استشعار قيمة هذا المنجز العظيم وأهمية المحافظة عليه بصدق الانتماء والإخلاص بالولاء لهذا الوطن. الوقفة الثانية بالطبع مع الإنجازات التي تتحقق على مختلف الأصعدة وفي شتى المجالات والميادين مما جعل المملكة مضرب الأمثال في التنمية وفي السياسة الحكيمة التي لا تثني المملكة من القيام بواجبها تجاه أمتها وقضايا العالم ولا تسمح لنفسها بالتدخل في شؤون الآخرين الأمر الذي أكسبها احتراما وبوأها مكانة دولية مرموقة ليس مبعث هذه المكانة قوة السلاح والتجبر لكن العقل والصدق واحترام الآخرين. وبعيدا عن استعراض دور المملكة في إطار دول العشرين ومحافظتها الواعية على استقرار اقتصاد العالم المعتمد على النفط كطاقة حياتية يتوقف عليها نمو المجتمعات بعيدا عن كل ذلك نتوقف أمام التنمية المحلية المرتكزة على بناء الإنسان بالدرجة الأساسية لأنه هدف التنمية ووسيلتها معا ولذا اتجهت السياسة الحكيمة لخادم الحرمين الشريفين إلى بناء اقتصاد المعرفة الذي ينطلق أساسا من الاستثمار في الإنسان وإطلاق العقل المبدع فكان برنامج خادم الحرمين للابتعاث الخارجي مكملا لمؤسسات التعليم العملاقة والنموذجية من جامعات ومعاهد تعددت مستوياتها وامتدت لتشمل كل أرجاء الوطن. ومن أوجه الاستثمار في الإنسان الصحة ويشهد العالم بمدى التطور الذي وصلت إليه المنشآت الصحية في المملكة وخدماتها المعتمدة أساساً على الكفاءات الوطنية السعودية من الأطباء والطبيبات الذين طبقت شهرتهم الآفاق وحققوا إنجازات عالمية تضاف إلى سجل العطاء الإنساني البشري في هذا المجال. ووقفة أخرى في يومنا الوطني مع الوضع الذي تعيشه مملكتنا في هذه المرحلة الحرجة التي شهد العالم فيه من حولنا انعدام الأمن والاستقرار ونشوب الحروب والاضطرابات الداخلية التي تعاني من ويلاتها عدد من البلدان العربية وغير العربية ونحن ننعم بأمن واستقرار عظيمين يجب علينا إزاؤهما حمد الله أولا على هذه النعمة ثم الوفاء والولاء والالتفاف حول قيادتنا الحكيمة التي حمت الوطن والمواطن عبر سياسات قائمة على العدل الذي هو أساس الملك في كل المجالات وهو أمر نعض عليه بالنواجذ ونعلم أبنائنا والأجيال من بعدنا كيف يحافظوا عليه ويحمونه، والسعيد من اعتبر بغيره. ويطول بنا الحديث في هذا المجال بعظمة المناسبة ولا نملك إلا أن ندعو الله أن يحفظ على هذه البلاد أمنها واستقرار ويوفق ولاة أمرها إلى ما فيه الخير وإلى الأمام يا موطن الخير عزيزاً مهاباً. |

2009 Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to Saudi Arabia
Al Hammad also commented on the 2009 visit of the then Chinese President Hu Jintao to Saudi Arabia upon being invited by King Abdullah Al Saud. His comments where published by Al Riyadh[7]:

2017 Crisis
In March 2017, Malaysia's The Star reported that Malaysian RAM Rating Services of RAM Holdings Berhad, Kuala Lumpur suspended the rating of the RM1bil Sukuk Wakalah (2013/2023) issued by Al Bayan Holding Company following the group’s failure to meet certain obligations under RAM’s rating mandate. This resulted the escalation of Al Bayan's financial crisis[10].

After the suspension of RAM ratings, it was reported that many firms started to withdrew their contracts and agreements with Al Bayan Holding Group, indicating that there is a financial crisis undergoing in Al Bayan.
2017 Anti-Corruption Drive
It was reported that the Saudi government arrested co-owners of Al Bayan Holding Group in November 2017, including Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Hammad, following Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman's launch of 2017 Anti-Corruption Drive. However, these suspicions and allegations didn't appeared in the local press of Saudi Arabia.
Social Media Outrage
In December 2017, an Egyptian expatriate calling himself as an employee of Al Bayan Holding Group uploaded a video on YouTube where he explained about his mental harassment in the firm via the four co-owners. He also requested the arrest of co-owners and clearance of his dues through intervention of King Salman Al Saud[11]The same person uploaded a video in late December 2017 or early January 2018 where he records a footage through his mobile phone in which he shows a group of stranded employees of DNGO Contracting Company and Nahdaat Al Emaar, the two subsidiaries of Al Bayan Holding Group without their dues and salaries calling for justice[12].
In early January 2017, an person informing himself as an engineer assigned at Al Bayan Holding Group recorded a footage via his mobile phone and later uploaded it on YouTube. In the video, he had shown that employees holding banners are on strike against the firm as some of them didn't receive their dues and salaries from the past 13 months[13]. The same engineer uploaded a video in the same month of January where he shows stranded expatriates who didn't received their salaries for more than six months on strike against the firm at the Al Bayan's project site in 'Asir Region[14].
An another expatriate in Al Bayan Holding Group uploaded a video on YouTube in February 2018 requesting justice from King Salman Al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud after he didn't received his salary for more than 12 months[15].
