JSC "Abakan-Avia" (Russian: ЗАО «Авиакомпания «Абакан-Авиа») was a national airline of Khakassia based in Abakan, Russia. It operated cargo trunk services within Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as relief flights for the United Nations. Its main bases were Abakan Airport (ABA) and El Obeid Airport, Sudan.[1]
History
The airline was established in 1992 and started operations in 1993. It was established from a former Aeroflot unit, and started domestic cargo flights in 1993 and international flights in 1994.
