A New Decade: Live from Brixton Academy is a live DVD by British recording group Soul II Soul, released by Virgin Records on 22 September 1990.[1] It was shot at the Brixton Academy, Brixton, London, in summer of 1990 during their worldwide A New Decade Tour. The album is their second overall release to feature a slightly new lineup of members. Singers Marcia Lewis, Lamya, Kym Mazelle, Victoria Wilson-James, along with rappers Jazzie B and Daddae are acknowledge as the members of Soul II Soul. The concert recording was also released in CD format.

Background

Following the release of Soul II Soul's second album Vol. II: 1990 – A New Decade in May 1990, the group began touring in the summer throughout London. Their concert at Brixton Academy was recorded and released on 22 September 1990. The group performed songs from their second album as well as their first album Club Classics Vol. One.
