A Good Night in the Ghetto is the debut mixtape by American rapper and singer Kamaiyah.[3] It was released on March 14, 2016.[4] The production is handled by Drew Banga, CT Beats, DJ Official, Trackademicks, WTF Nonstop, Link Up, 1-O.A.K., and P-Lo.[5] "F*ck It Up" features a guest appearance from YG.[6]

Kamaiyah stated that she "wanted to make a soundtrack for the average 18-25 year old thriving, living and having a good time".[7] She said, "I feel like a lot of music nowadays is hella dark, and I didn't want to make a project that was dark."[8]

Music videos were created for "Out the Bottle",[9] "How Does It Feel",[10] "For My Dawg",[11] "F*ck It Up",[12] "Mo Money Mo Problems",[13] "I'm On",[14] and "Freaky Freaks".[15]

Complex placed it at number 21 on the "50 Best Albums of 2016" list.[16] Pitchfork placed it at number 47 on the "50 Best Albums of 2016" list.[17] Rolling Stone placed it at number 17 on the "40 Best Rap Albums of 2016" list.[18] The Guardian named it one of the 15 best mixtapes of 2016.[19]
