ASG v GSA

ASG v GSA [2009] EWCA Civ 1574 was a 2009 legal action in which a "well known person" who is married with children had an adulterous relationship and used English privacy law to prevent the disclosure of this fact. The anonymised claimant in this case claimed to be being blackmailed and stated that the defendant was going to tell the press and his wife about the affair.[1] A privacy injunction was granted on appeal.
