Uzbekistan: Despite initially planning a debut for the 2018 festival, it was later announced that Uzbekistan had been taken off the list of participating countries and would not be debuting.[2] New Zealand: Although initially listed on this page as participating and making their debut in 2018, New Zealand is not on the official list of participating countries for 2018 and local broadcaster TV New Zealand (TVNZ) has not stated any plans to participate.
