The Pitești-Craiova Motorway (Romanian: Autostrada Pitești–Craiova) is a planned motorway in the south-western part of Romania labelled as A12.[1] It will connect the cities of Pitești, Slatina and Craiova. It is planned to be 121 km long, with an estimated total cost of 1.66 billion euro, and reportedly shall be completed until 2021.[2]

Its construction was tendered as a concession contract in March 2013,[3] that shall be awarded until December 2013.[2] It shall also be decided whether it will be built as a motorway or an expressway.[4]

According to Transport Minister Răzvan Cuc, this road will be an express road and not a motorway[5].
