39 Cygni (39 Cyg) is a star in the constellation Cygnus, approximately 260 light years away from Earth. It is an orange star of the spectral type K3III, meaning it has a surface temperature of 3,500 to 5,000 kelvins. It is cooler, but much larger and brighter, than the Sun.[1]
