In July 2016 the U.S. Department of Transportation authorized a certificate for air transportation for the airline. The airline operated its first flight on November 9, 2016 between Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico. In October 2017 The Amur Foundation, a nonprofit public charity arm of the Amur Companies is providing logistical support to the disaster relief efforts for Puerto Rico.
