The 2019 World Women's Curling Championship will be held from March 16 to 24 at the Silkeborg Sportscenter in Silkeborg, Denmark.

The format of the tournament was changed for the 2018 World Women's Curling Championship in North Bay, Canada, with 13 teams qualifying for the tournament (as opposed to 12 in previous years). The top 6 teams from round-robin play will qualify for the playoffs. The playoff system is single-knockout, where the top two teams qualify directly for the semifinals and the following four teams play each other in the first knockout round. The official schedule of play will be released on December 21 2018, with the final four teams being added to the schedule after the 2019 World Qualification Event, ending on January 19th 2019.

The following nations are qualified to participate in the 2019 World Women's Curling Championship:

  •  Denmark (host country)
  • Two teams from the Americas zone
  • Six teams from the 2018 European Curling Championships
  • Two teams from the 2018 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships
  • Two teams from the World Qualification Event
