The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two is an international cricket tournament that is scheduled to take place in 2019.[1] It will form part of the 2017–22 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determines the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup.[2][3] Both Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea finished in the bottom two places in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, therefore relegating them to the Division Two tournament and losing their One Day International (ODI) status in the process.[4][5]
Teams
Six teams will qualify for the tournament:
Papua New Guinea (9th in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier)[6] Hong Kong (10th in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier)[6] Canada (3rd in 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two)[7] Namibia (4th in 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two)[7]- TBD (1st in 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three)
