2018 American salmonella outbreak

The 2018 American salmonella outbreak was an American disaster in which over 250 people[1] were sickened by chicken salad contaminated with salmonella. The salad was made by an Iowa-based food processing company Triple T Specialty Meats and distributed in Fareway supermarket.[2] One person in Iowa died, and more than 90 others were hospitalized.[3] At least 48 lawsuits have been filed against Triple-T and Fareway from outbreak victims.[4]
