The 2018 West Asian Football Federation Championship will be the 9th WAFF Championship, an international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation. The tournament will be hosted in Basra, Iraq for the first time. It was meant to be held from 8 December to 17 December 2017 in Amman, Jordan,[1] but was postponed to a later date,[2] and subsequently moved to Iraq on 21 May 2018.[3]

Draw
The draw for the group stage was originally going to be made on 7 December 2017 in Amman, Jordan,[4] before the tournament was postponed.[2]
