The 2018 Primera B de Chile, known as the 2018 Campeonato Loto for sponsorship purposes, is the 65th season of Chile's second-tier football league. The competition began on 2 February 2018 and is scheduled to end on 2 December 2018.[1]

Format

The tournament will be played by 16 teams which will play each other twice (once at home and once away), for a total of 30 matches. The team that finishes in first place at the end of the round-robin tournament will earn promotion to the Campeonato Nacional for the 2019 season. Meanwhile, the team finishing in second place will play for the second promotion berth with the winner of a playoff tournament played by the teams finishing between the third and sixth place. The team finishing in bottom place at the end of the season will be relegated to the Segunda División Profesional.[2]
