The 2017 League of Ireland Cup Final was the final match of the 2017 League of Ireland Cup, played between Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk. The match was played on 17 September 2016 at 3.00 pm.
David McMillan put Dundalk ahead with a header after five minutes before Patrick McEleney and substitute Thomas Stewart added to the final socre of 3-0, with Aaron Bolger being sent off for Shamrock Rovers.[1][2][3]
