On June 18, 2017, an explosion at the upmarket Centro Andino shopping mall in the Zona Rosa district of Bogotá, Colombia, killed three people and injured 11 others. One of the killed was a French woman.[1][2]

Responsibility

Police later arrested eight members of a small far-left urban guerilla group called the People’s Revolutionary Movement (Movimento Revolucionario del Pueblo, MRP).[3] The group has only been known since 2015 and are suspected in 14 other attacks in Colombia.[4][5]
