The 2015–16 season was Livingston's fifth consecutive season in the second tier of Scottish football and their third season in the Scottish Championship.[1] Livingston also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and the Scottish Cup.

Overview

Season 2015-16 was a very disappointing season for Livingston, as the club finished 9th in the Scottish Championship and was relegated to League One following an 8-6 aggregate defeat to Stranraer in the Championship play-off semi-final. The club also suffered early exits in all three cup competitions.
