The 2014–15 Memphis Grizzlies season was the 20th season of the franchise in the NBA and their 14th in Memphis.[1] The Grizzlies were strong for most of the season, and lead the Southwest division for most of the season, but faltered during the month of April and surrendered the division lead to the Rockets. The Grizzlies finished second in the Southwest division with the second best record in franchise history at 55-27 and fifth in the Western conference. In the first round, they defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in 5 games. The Grizzlies' season ended with a 2-4 semi-finals loss to eventual champion Golden State Warriors.
