The 2012–13 season was Montrose’s seventeenth consecutive season in the Scottish Third Division, having been relegated from the Scottish Second Division at the end of the 1995–96 season.[1] Montrose also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and the Scottish Cup.

Management

Montrose will be managed by Stuart Garden[2] for the 2012–13 season, following the departure of Ray Farningham who joined Dundee as assistant manager.[3]
