The 2011 Joan Gamper Trophy was the 46th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy. Spanish side and hosts Barcelona faced Italian side Napoli at the Camp Nou in Barcelona.

The Catalans defeated the Italians with a 5-0 win.[1][2] Cesc Fàbregas, Seydou Keita and Pedro scored one goal each while Lionel Messi scored twice, although he came in as a second half substistute.

It was the first edition in Joan Gamper Trophy's history in which the "man of the match" award was given to a player. Barcelona's Seydou Keita was the first ever winner of the prize.[3][4]
