The 1983 Chattanooga Moccasins football team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the 1983 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The Mocs were led by fourth year head coach "Brother" Bill Oliver and played their home games at Charmerlain Field. They are a member of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 7–4,5-2 in Southern Conference play to finish in 3rd place.[1]
