The 1980 UCF Knights football season was the UCF Knights football second season. Head coach Don Jonas compiled a 441 overall record, including the programs only tie against Miles.[1]

The Knights competed as an NCAA Division III Independent. The Knights played their home games at Orlando Stadium, now known as the Citrus Bowl, in Downtown Orlando.
