The 1952 Úrvalsdeild karla was the 1st season of the top tier men's basketball league on Iceland, then known as 1. deild karla. The season started on April 21, 1952 and ended on April 29, 1952.[1] ÍKF won the inaugural title by posting the best record in the league.[2]
