The 1940–41 Challenge Cup was the 40th staging of rugby league's oldest knockout competition, the Challenge Cup.[1] The competition was re-introduced after a season’s absence.

Final

In the Final of the Challenge Cup on 17 May 1941, Leeds beat Halifax at Odsal by 19–2 before a crowd of 28,500.
